The Luxfords on Lexington in North Nanaimo is my favourite place to do open houses.  I have been working opens there since last fall.  The finishing in these townhouses is unique, well thought out and well-constructed.  The developer is Saywell Developments, here in Nanaimo.  The development is backed by the National Home Warranty program.

The location of the Luxfords is excellent.  They are located just off of McGirr Road in North Nanaimo which is just a short walk to Woodgrove Mall, restaurants, beach access, parks, and both levels of schools.  Public Transit is conveniently located just across the street.

Two sq. footage plans are currently available: 

1823 sq. feet - 3 bedrooms with the master on the main and two bedrooms and full bath upstairs.   2485 sq. feet - 3 bedrooms with the master on the main and two bedrooms, family room, full bath and bonus space downstairs.

Some of the interior features the high end Luxford homes offer are:

Over height ceilings, electric fireplaces, solid hardwood flooring, custom cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms.  The units are heated with forced electric heat with options to upgrade to heat pump/air conditioning.  The light fixtures are contemporary as are the colours chosen for the walls. 

Some of the exterior features at The Luxfords on Lexington are:

Rock detailed accents; solid fir timber framed entrances, shakes and architecturally designed landscapes.

The price tag for the Luxfords on Lexington range between $389,900 and $419,900 plus HST.  Strata fees range between $180.to $250 a month depending on the size of the unit.

I have spent a great deal of time in The Luxfords so I thought I would share with you the top three things people comment on when they visit them.

•1  The 9 foot ceilings.  This is always the first thing I hear.  People love the spaciousness of the units. 

•2  Stunning ensuite bathrooms.  I could spend a lot of time in these ensuites!

•3  The high quality finishing including the solid wood flooring.
